Default He is the Commander in Chief

He does have the authority to attack Iran. Look at our Constitution.

Is it the right thing to do, well that is debatable.

Like he will listen anyway ? The man is a war-mongering putz and one wonders who of the two is cruising for the biggest bruise , Ahmadinejahd or Bush ?

Wasn't Iran always on the cards anyway ? He does seem to have a penchant for countries beginning with I.R.A and a lot of oil doesn't he, or is it just countries who need our great democratic wisdom brought to them... Not being cynical or anything.

Its too bad our US constitution doesn't allow for recall elections like some state constitutions do. I would predict Bush would be recalled by a vote of about 80-85% yays and less than 20% nays.

No sir Mr. President. How 'bout you take care of the two wars you have going on right now before you start a third.

World War 3 doesn't mean there has to be a third country invaded Georgie. It's just a numerical coincidence, okay???

Thats all we need is more and more pure democracy elements in the system. They are dangerous and subject to a very volatile and ignorant element, the public. Thats why representation exists. Granted it was warned that it would eventually fail like all systems due to corruption, but its purpose was to protect from the rash, emotional, selfish, and illogical actions of the mob.

Regardless of what you believe about any "one" candidate, giving the keys over to the people to decide at every issue is dangerous beyond belief. The system has many checks and balances. Congress has the tools to deal with rogue representation, they can use that system to achieve the same result, but the problem is that it has to go through a process that requires truth to be evident and clear. Those truths are not always the same truths the public believes.

Actually, yes he does have authority...

But I don't think he will. Senators just politicking for a few votes at home.
