It happened on his watch, he's the boss. It's only right that he gets the boot. That said, I need to be convinced that Chicago thug Obama wasn't wise to this the whole time.
This is like putting Bernie Madoff in jail to account for the Wall Street crash of 2008.
Of course he was leaving but this guy was taking orders from someone.
I just don't understand why this President seems to know 'nothing.' Everything he 'finds out' is from the news or at the same time we Americans find out on the tube.
He didn't really fire anyone. The guy was leaving anyway. He sent out an e-mail to the IRS employees last night saying he was leaving when his term was up in June (which is what he was doing anyway.) All Obama did was talk tough and pretend to fire a guy who was already leaving.
Obama didn't even cut the last few weeks off his term. Obama said he would leave after an "orderly transition," aka, leave the same day in June that he has always been scheduled to leave.

News Flash: The POTUS isn't monitoring the work of every federal employee. Maybe if he had a permanent IRS head he would have known more. Oh, the Republicans are holding up Obama's nominee. Figures.

Rather than fire from the top down in a knee-jerk reaction, get the workers to say who told them to do that and work your way up.
