I've read that even Texas could switch from R to D in the near future for this very reason. You can alienate minority groups only so long. Particularly when their base is increasing and yours isn't.
Exactly. Texas is extremely liberal and I can see it swinging 20 points in 4 years.
One can only hope and pray that this model is correct. I hope to God to never see another Republican in the White House and I will end my earthly journey comfortable knowing my children and grandkids never have to live under the tyranny of another Geo W Bush again or worry about boot scootin tobacco chewin rednecks taking over the country.
Well once you have your one party rule then who will you blame for the screw ups ?
Hopefully we will have 2 or more parties like Canada and the UK do. Hopefully we will have a liberal party as opposed to a moderate right and far right party we have now.
