25,000, not 2500. That is what the congressman said yesterday talking to the media.

These people are corrupt to the bone, and are only hurting their chances in next elections.

This is as bad as Obama refusing to release the tapes, err emails from the first 2 days after Benghazi, which would be the most critical.

Altering the emails is a lie. They are right up there with Obama looking into the camera and lying during the debate about not misleading on Benghazi.

Not releasing original emails is not the same as alterring the emails to fit your narrative.

25,000 or 250 million...GOP had to change meaning to make a case.

Now I know how Dane in LA feels. You guys DO realize the original e-mails are available, right? There's no amount of whiting out, rewriting, or any other fantasy you can dream up that would alter the original e-mails unless you claim somehow Republican computer experts have grabbed the computers.

This is the reason why we need independent counsel appointed for Benghazi, the IRS and the AP issues. More and more organizations and people are coming forth saying they were targeted and audited or harassed. It appears this Administration turned on its people. An independent counsel needs to be appointed so this can proceed in an orderly manner and not some via some freak out by Mother Jones, HuffPo or other self-appointed partisan hacks.

Released to the public for all to see, it would be foolish to alter an e-mail while you are under the microscope already.

There is no reason for a Independent Counsel. There are Congressional investigations ongoing. Let the process work.

The person who got the altered emails could easily name who gave it to them.
Out the rat.

Then they are fools. The proof is there...accept it if you wish, bury you head if you wish.

It's called a feeding frenzy...or rush to judgment. The facts get over-looked.

We see it done everyday. Drudge or Rush reports on a report and all the blogosphere is all a buzz. A Representive is running to the Hill with the report in his hand looking for a microphone and a camera.

Benghazi is a non story in terms of being a political scandal for the White House.

conservatives drift further and further away from reality.

Not that the people I know are representative, but I work with conservatives and not one of them is talking about this bogus scandals. Although, the IRS situation does represent real misconduct.
