Is there some reason that conservatives always have to "work with" Democrats? Meaning, give up their priciples and agree with Democrats.

Isn't it about time that Democrats give up some of their principles (big govt, huge spending, more restrictions on people) and work with conservatives instead, for a change?

And how did democrats greet G.W. Bush?

As any democrat would tell you:

Quote:
Democrats/Liberals/Progressives are ALWAYS CORRECT therefore it is the GOP/Conservatives/Tea Party that must work with us for things to move forward.
The logic is sound (according to them).

Sam Ervin. He was a good southern conservative who would have pursued Obama's corruption.

Gee, I wonder what liberals would accuse Mr. Ervin of being if he had looked into Obama's scandals?

How about switching the question: Have the Democrats, as a party, and has Obama made any real attempt to work with the Republicans? It seems Bush made an attempt and the Dems worked with him on issues that could benefit the country. How about Clinton working with Newt and the Republicans.

Now, if we want to go back, how about Sam Nunn?

Considering the infamous, "I won" remark, it should be obvious who isn't working with whom.
