IMO they were trying to derail the Benghazi hearings. You don't hear the press asking "where were you after 5 Mr. President? Who gave the stand-down order?"

It feeds right into my "why now" thread..

I will make a new thread instead of adding on here since i have a new idea about this. About why obama choose bush people to be his heads of these departments.

Bigger and Uglier? Not from where I sit. The scandals are falling apart

The crucial ingredient for a scandal is the prospect of high-level White House involvement and wide political repercussions. Government wrongdoing is boring. Scandals can bring down presidents, decide elections and revive down-and-out political parties. Scandals can dominate American politics for months at a time.

On Tuesday, it looked like we had three possible political scandals brewing. Two days later, with much more evidence available, it doesn’t look like any of them will pan out. There’ll be more hearings, and more bad press for the Obama administration, and more demands for documents. But — and this is a key qualification — absent more revelations, the scandals that could reach high don’t seem to include any real wrongdoing, whereas the ones that include real wrongdoing don’t reach high enough. Let’s go through them.

Harry Reid says Romney Tax Returns anonymous source:
Harry Reid said "You guys have said his wealth is $250 million. Not a chance in the world. It's a lot more than that."

Harry Reid says anonymous source told him Mitt Romney didn't pay taxes for 10 years.

Osama Bin Laden is dead and Al-Quaeda is on the run. (insinuation - Obama saved us from Al-Quaeda)

Fort Hood Masacre - Work place violence
It was insinuated that Romney caused the death of a women (proven wrong)
They'll put you back in chains (false and ridiculous assumption)
Vote with your lady parts
You're a racist
Vote, vote, vote for revenging
Harass conservative groups and religious groups
Liberal lap dog (kiss Obama's butt) media
Tax the rich, (and increases taxes on upper income, not wealthy who are now richer.

This was one dirty election!

C'mon MTA, this article was written by Ezra Klein, who writes for Maddow, Olbermann and Chris Matthews. He's not exactly objective in his opinions.

Which is why the IRS and AP scandals were released last week. Theres nothing tying obama to those. But benganzi is a different story. That whistle blower that wasnt allowed to testify or the risk that hillary would be recalled and what she might say must have worried the white house that it needed to be pusjed off of mainstream medias front page. This way they take the heat on stuff they can survive while blocking the scandal that was a risk to the white house.

The wild card is hillary! She can tie it all to obama and his inner circle. How she uses her knowledge is the question. She surly will not take one for the team.

On the other hand, she may be so intimately involved in the Benghazi scandal she has to stay quiet. IMO this is a major cover-up, everyone has each other by the cojones and nobody has blinked yet. It could get uglier.

Hillary has to decide if she's running in 2016 or not. Should she blow the whistle on this mess or help Obama keep the lid on it?
