He is the ultimate survivor -- a man who won two landslide presidential elections against all odds. Maybe this is a consequence of the goodness of his humanity... you know the saying good things happen to good people.

No matter what the Republicans throw against him, it just bounces off like a ball off a tennis racket. This has been incredibly frustrating to Republicans who have done everything in their power to sabotage him only to see him rise, prosper, and prevail through it all.

Case in point, a slew of manufactured scandals from the right engineered to make the President look worse than their fallen angel Nixon. "This is sure to do him in" Republicans say to themselves gleefully. "All we have to do is get the media to focus on these fake scandals of ours and the Obama Presidency will be over", they plotted among themselves.

Well you can imagine their chagrin and disappointment with the recent news that the President's approval ratings have actually risen throughout the course of the Republican lead faux scandals. Americans, it seems, are very good at detecting b.s. The choreographed Republican outrage over these manufactured scandals doesn't pass the smell test with most Americans.
So then you credit all the "non-scandals" to incompetence or do you blame everyone beneath him?

NewYorkGuy - have you ever in your life stepped back from blindly trusting what motherjones tells you and actually thought for yourself? Believe it or not, that is something you are allowed to do. But then you would have to have an intelligent conversation and wouldn't get the ego boost that you enjoy from blindly bashing other political parties online.

Congrats though! You are amazing at blindly parroting back what motherjones and thinkprogress writes. That sure is something to be proud of champ! Critical thinking can go to hell, right?

You do realize that campaign spending by the actual candidates and PAC spending are 2 completely different things right.

And you should post something to back your claims up because i started googling and i see nothing that backs up your claim, the closest thing is a site claiming President OBama spent 71 dollars more than Romney in the last 15 days of the election. That doesnt mean he outspent Romney overall, nor does it tell how much their superPACs spent during the same time, or overall.

by the way, you are doing the exact same thing you are accusing others of doing, just from the other side of the political spectrum.

If the claims are so baseless why do 59% of americans feel the GOP's handling of Benghazi was correct?

Two things:

1) People are feeling better about the economy, and they're giving Obama some credit for that.

2) Republicans have lost credibility. People are tired of scandals, and they're tired of republicans trying to do everything they can to create one. They'll end up making their party look worse if they keep it up.

Keep drinking the Koolaid.
Do you even know the definition of treason? Somehow I doubt it.

This isn't 'news'. Did you seriously vote without looking into campaign spending? Look at the net spending amount including all PAC and candidate spending.

It is pretty sad that someone would actually vote in an election without educating themself on something as obvious as where the money is coming from.

They might agree that there was some sort of b.s. reason trotted out to cover up the truth about Benghazi memos. The bigger question republicans seem unable to understand is that people are over it already. It was a terrorist attack - okay, we get it. Put better protection at embassies and be done with it. Talking about Bengazi is like opening another investigation into Jack Abramoff.

Fake scandals, fake outrage, and a whole lot of indifference from the public because the rwnj's are ALWAYS ranting about SOMETHING. They've lost all credibility, so nobody listens. That's what happens when you constantly cry wolf.

Benghazi – 4 Americans killed. Yes. The first such attack in almost 5 yrs. There were 13 such attacks under Bush, some of which occurred TWICE at the same location. NOT ONE INQUIRY on those attacks, and over 60 deaths! Manufactured by Republican led CIA and GOP doctored emails.

AP – Perfectly legal under the Patriot Act and NDAA, both passed by the Bush Administration. "Unprecedented" yes due to the severity of the National Security leak, "trampling their 1st Amendment rights" does not include protection of treasonous activity.

IRS – IRS did NOT ADMIT targeting Obama's political opponents. They admitted and reported (almost a YEAR ago) that conservative groups with words such as "tea" or "patriot" in their name were scrutinized more thoroughly than others. We all know that this had nothing to do with tax-exempt status and more about pushing the envelope to see if they could get away with HIDING DONOR names (violations of law, BTW) they were given extra scrutiny. None were denied if the doc was provided.

So absolutely manufactured scandals. Convenient timing, and that these scandals rely on the extreme bigotry and ignorance exhibited by red state right wing voters who are too busy looking to blame someone for the predicament they themselves created, rather than working toward a solution. Many of us are really tired of the endless unfounded fusillade of garbage being thrown at the POTUS.

(Stolen from CNN comment section)

Look worse? Is that even possible?
