MSM victims : CD - Hall of Fame (of the politically most-correct)

Yes, Virginia, there really is a Mainstream Media conspiracy,
Doing its best to control people's thinking in certain key areas.

Although Trust in Media has fallen to very low levels / ie.
DISTRUST OF MEDIA is at record levels

/source: http://www.slate.com/blogs/the_slate...he_media_.html

...Many are still happy to ignore their low credibility rating of the corporate Media, and follow the lead they suggest for their readers and viewers. This is a perversion of the original check-and-balance function of the Fourth Estate.

We see the politically correct reactions in certain Key Areas :
=====

1/ Talking down any one who goes against the "official story" on a likely false flag event (by calling those who have alternative explanations: "Conspiracy Theorists",

2/ Not agreeing with the latest MSM supported "fashionable" campaign favoring: Gun control, Gay rights, etc.,

3/ Arguing that despite all the many failures of government, that our lives will be better or safer, if government gets Bigger still.

4/ Ridiculing any serious discussion of UFOs and ETs,

5/ Labeling any objection to Israel's bad behavior as "anti-semitic"

... and so many more areas.

PLEASE NOMINATE THOSE who you think deserve a place in this Hall of Fame,
(and provide a copy of their post, which inspired the nomination)

TRUST / or DISTRUST is also linked to people's political affiliations

/source: http://www.slate.com/blogs/the_slate...he_media_.html

I would like to see this updated to May 2013, to see if the Dems have maintained their confidence in the media.

What's that old saying?:
"You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time."

Maybe you cannot go on fooling (so many of the Dems) All of the time.
Even Dems wake up eventually, eh?

Media is a broad term and this poll/survey looks just like the congressional approval one and the Presidential approval one, The questioning isnt specifics.

When conservatives hear "media" they think of everything except FOX, so their opinions are low of it, when you ask a liberal, they think of many different things.

You having a dislike of the media does not mean anyone is being fooled it just means you have a difference of opinions

Republicans constantly rant about Fox being the most popular news channel, yet they do;n't consider Fox mainstream.

I reckon that Fox must be included in most people definitions of Mainstream Media -
certainly it is "Corporate controlled" - Rupert Murdock, I think it is.

90%+ of the mainstream media, is controlled by just Six Guys,
and they have drifted far way from the original function the The Fourth Estate:

The Fourth Estate (or fourth estate) is a societal or political force or institution whose influence is not consistently or officially recognized. "Fourth Estate" most commonly refers to the news media; especially print journalism or "The Press".
===
/ more: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fourth_Estate

The original Positive Function of a Free Press was to keep the other Power sectors in line - and especially power-mad people in government, not to protect them and cover up their crimes.

1st Estate : Clergy
2nd Estate : Government
3rd Estate : Free Citizens
4th Estate : Free Press and Media

"Yes, Virginia, there really is a Mainstream Media conspiracy"...
Doing its best to control people's thinking in certain key areas.
Sadly, too many CD-ers seem to be willing to fall in line, behind the MSM
and support their agenda, and that may not be good for Freedom.
