How can anyone think that it is ok for the government to be doing this? Democrat or Republican it is WRONG ... no government should be doing this kind of spying on news reporters.

The fact that people cannot put aside their political affiliations and condemn these actions is disgusting. I hope one day that people like Chimuelojones, SHABAZZ310, etc never find themselves under this sort of scrutiny from the government - regardless of whether it be during a Democratic or a Republican administration.

I understand that you guys are Black and proud of Obama as the first Black president, that is great but there comes a point where you have to admit that this has crossed the line. We have a Constitution that specifically protects freedom of the press (media) and that includes criticizing on an reporting things that may hurt the president's popularity.

well said. and while i would be opposed to it, perhaps liberals should be put under the same scrutiny that conservatives are, let them get a taste of the same medicine that conservatives are getting from the government, and lets see what they say. i would bet that they would find the pill equally bitter and might realize that the government is out of control and needs to be reigned in. in the 60s and 70s the liberals were always complaining about government and that is was too big, and too intrusive, and now that they are in charge, they are complaining that it isnt big enough or intrusive enough.

Walks like a duck . . . .
We give all these increased powers to the federal government, in good faith, and then they use them for political gain, to punish their political enemies.

How terrible of a reporter must you be to sit on a story like this if it's even remotely true.

She obviously needed more Twitter followers.
Exactly.

Never mind. People who you disagree with deserve to be attacked, don't they?
Which unfortunately she has failed to do. She only "believes" that it happened and has presented her belief without any facts. If it's the middle of an investigation then she does not have facts so why bring it up now?

If she has facts and proof then great. Until then people are allowed to be skeptical just as people are allowed to believe her. Not attacking anyone.

Doesn't work that way anymore. Merely thinking something is happening makes it fact in their eyes.

Government has shrunk every year under Obama, so saying the bold makes no sense.

Federal spending will be up this year over last year and is projected to continue increasing.
