Why do so many on this board, even after Obama has been reelected, show almost a cultlike loyalty to him. Can you not take the partisan blinders off and do what is right? This country was around long before Obama was potus. It will be hear long after he is in the ground. Time to start being Americans and not sycophants.

Partisan blinders?

Like the ones you're clearly wearing when you imply this party first BS didn't exist until Obama became POTUS?

Tell that to the members of Congress who are more loyal to their party than their country.

I'm not blindly loyal to Obama. I didn't go along with his stimulus packages because they were a bandaid for an arterial bleed. I would have rather he jettison the mandate in the health care package, and make it voluntary, among other things.

But what I do not understand is the adherance to every stupid conspiracy theory out there about Obama. It's nonsense.

Case in point: Birtherism, FEMA camps, Civilian Army, Obama is a Muslim, Gay, Communist, Socialist, Fascist, etc., etc., etc.

People who identify with a political party are losers with no self-esteem who desperately want to be a member of the "cool crowd," just like in high school. They haven't grown out of their need to be "accepted."

True grown-ups realize the entire SYSTEM is corrupt, and that both parties agree on 99% of the issues. The Ds and the Rs just put up a front to make it appear they are different--just like the nerds and the cool kids in high school.

Agree completely. We'll get there, but the divide and distract method has been working for so long that it had to take 2 two-term Puppet Presidents from both political parties to stab Americans in the back before we realized our political system is somewhat of an illusion.

rebeldor, you said that right. The entire system is corrupt and the Obama administration is no different. I think he is worse, Obama did said he will change the fundamentals but many failed to ask exactly what he means by that. We all have different perceptions to his meaning.

I look at it in a similar way, but my analogy is that of treating politics as a sporting event, with all of the trash talking, and attempted zings going back and forth. Furthermore, I question the mind set of the "true grown-ups" in this country because the choices were Obama or Romney, and of course most people are sucked into that "lesser of two evils" game! At any rate, until people actually wake up, and realize how corrupt the 2 parties are, and stop voting for D's and R's and having the "hooray go team mentality" well..... we get the government that we deserve.

There is no reason everybody did not know exactly what he meant. He was the most left of any member of the senate. When it is someone running for any office, don't listen to what they say, look at what they have done and how they were brought up. He is trying to do exactly what I thought he would. My hope is that he does not succeed. I like a free America.

He wants to be totally in control of the mind, body and spirit of everyone in this country. We don't need that.
