Officers arrested the son and charged him with misdemeanor larceny.

She might have saved the people around her from a horrible fate.

Kids have already been thrown out of school for chewing a Pop-tart into the shape of a gun.

That kid could have done it... and then chewed another into the shape of some cartridges... and wound up with a loaded gun!

How many could have been killed or injured as a result?

Oh, the humanity.....!!

I wonder if he chewed one in the shape of a gun and threatened her with it?

No. Notice "Aggravated" was not on the charge...lol. He could have bit it into an Assault Pastry at any time but... it was his Mom you know.

Where is the poor child? We need to take him some pop tarts. I agree this says a lot about this parent. How does a child "steal" food from a parent? I heard this story on the news but I did not realize it is right in our back yard. Poor child.

So... does the mother have rules about what food around the house her son can't take or eat?

The cops who actually arrested the boy are the stupid ones here - at some point a cop needs to quit being a mindless robot, use the brain that God gave him/her, and exercise some common sense.
