It will serve the press right and teach them that love affairs with politicians aren't part of their jobs. Maybe they will now turn to reporting news objectively with both eyes open for a needed change.

This case has nothing to do with James Rosen "investigating the Dear Leader".

Exactly so. Following that then why the rush? Why did they not notify the Rosen's (James AND his parents) and/or Newscorp giving them a chance to either cooperate or challenge it in front of a judge? This stinks to high heaven.

I doubt Eric Holder will be sent to prison although he will be forced to resign and face probable disbarrment. We'll all be better off.

I think the biggest fallout from these scandals is that the media is definitely angry over these things.

The last couple years of Obama's presidency could be really rough when the media is out with sharp knives reporting the glass 1/2 full.

Now all the admin has to do is say "national security" and the swooners think they can do whatever they want and it's perfectly fine with them. Well when the shoe is on the other foot and you lefties have the IRS sicked on you and left handed journalists start whining about getting their phone records and emails taken by government just remember it's all YOUR fault. YOU allowed Obama to push this crap on us all and WE warned you loons about it the whole entire time to only be called nuts and conspiracy loons and the like. It is YOU who are nuts.
This seems to be the state of public thinking and very prevalent nowadays. I see it in many aspects of daily life and it's very troubling to those who "get it".
I and others I've spoken to are highly frustrated with the "well, it didn't/doesn't affect me, so why should I care" attitude.
Then when it does those same people are screaming bloody hell about "how could you let this happen".

1. Because he's funny.
2. He has as much (if not more) credibility as all the other "stars" that are "experts" and revered by the liberal Hollywood loving crowd that are regularly trotted out for their "expert analysis". Just look at Sally Struthers, Sean Penn etc.
