Which goes back to the topic at hand, what have Democrats done in the last 40 years to tangibly benefit blacks overall?
It's not that difficult to come up with a list of how they have set blacks back economically and psychologically
So what have they done that's positive?
The problem is the emotionalism. Even if there was a contingent of Republicans who hated black people, if their actual policies made blacks slightly better off then Republicans would be truly the lesser of two evils
But because of emotionalism, most blacks won't admit this to themselves or even consider it
The reality is that there could even be overtly racist people in the Republican party, but that's not as bad as Planned Parenthood, and the joke of what's called black entertainment as far as destroying the black family physically and psychologically
So basically, you are not actually interested in an answer. Got it.
I like the "even if" part, as if there were any doubt that there's an outright majority of bigots within the Republican Party. Nice try, but not accepted. And the absurd swipe at Planned Parenthood is cute, too.
Yeah let's talk about healthcare where now families will have to shell out as much as $695 a year for each member of the family up to 3 family members for penalty if they don't purchase a for-profit private insurance.
Nobody has to shell out any penalty if they manage their taxes optimally.
The Obamacare penalty does not have a collection mechanism beyond intercepting a person's tax refund.
If you don't overpay your taxes during the year, you don't qualify for a refund, so there is nothing for the IRS to intercept, and they cannot come after you to collect any penalty.
And in the last 25 years, how many Republican Presidents have campaigned in Black areas? That right there makes alot of Black people feel they aren't wanted by the Republican Party.
How many Democrats have campaigned in Salt Lake City or Anaheim?
Why waste limited resources campaiging in a place that you cannot win?
And when Republicans do campaign in black areas it is made very clear no matter what they say they are not welcome.
FYI, In 2004 George Bush ran numerous tv ads in Cleveland and increased the black vote for him considerably. 29,000 more black votes. Kerry still won the county but Bush got enough black votes to carry Ohio and the presidency. Basically, black people in Cleveland responded positively to George Bush and re-elected him. So it can be done.

contradicted yourself in the very next parapgraph. that was fast. LOL
"Felony convictions have also resulted in 18-month prison sentences for two employees of the Cuyahoga BOE as a result of what the county prosecutor in the case calls the "rigging" of the outcome in the recount following the 2004 presidential election. Further problems surfaced in the conduct of Cuyahoga County's May, 2006 primary, in the wake of which Michel Vu, Executive Director of the county's Board of Elections recently resigned. "
there are whole documentaries dedicated to the screw ups in Ohio in 2004, they completely changed their system because of it.
im curious though, where did you get that 29,000 number from ?
Welfare has destroyed Black Families that have become dependent on it. If that family is not looking for a way to get off of welfare then their family becomes destroyed and a vicious cycle begins. Welfare does not just effect African Americans but all races that depend on it. It is essential to Democrats to have as many people as possible to benefit on government. What they have done to achieve this is disgraceful and almost genocidal--using taxpayer money to promote illegitimacy, broken homes and generational dependency--all so they can have dependable voters on election day.
They haven't. To me one of the reasons is how fond of amnesty the D party is. Wouldn't help the black community and those who work in low skilled jobs.
(Though I think both parties don't help the country anyway)

none of that even make sense, you mind explaining why Democrats would want that since you claim they are purposefully doing it ?
Again as from the get go I said neither party is beneficial to the American public.
But what makes the Democratic party LESS detrimental than the Republican party other than your FEELINGS?
How is promotion of abortion, casual sex, and dependency more beneficial?
See a lot of programs on the surface sound good but they are implicitly telling children especially that they are not equal. That they need all these extra handicaps to make it in life because their brains aren't as good as their white counterparts. This victim mentality in addition to several other programs has been devastating.
I have to ask...How is the Democrats promoting abortion & sex? I've read all of your responses, you've gone from a questioning a particular race constitutional right to then pushing your opinions about Blacks as if it was valid and apply to all Blacks. Neither party have given an incentive to vote for them, that Lovely piece of paper called the Constitution is my incentive, history is my incentive as well as the future. I have voted for both Democratics and Republicans.
As far as these programs that many of you truely believe that ONLY minorities take advantage of, try again. They are geared towards low income families. Low Income is not segregated towards minorities.
Quite true, however that has nothing to do with what I posted.
Oh, puleeze! Your original post pretends to solicits opinion but at the same time expresses an opinion in such away as to make the expression of those opinions pointless since you have already stated your conclusion. So what is the point of debating? By using catch phrases such as "dependency bubble", and "Hollywood blaxploitation" the conversation presupposes that these are facts not to be disputed.
I have no intention is first having to refute the premiss before even discussing beneficial policy. I'm just not into spending hours composing refutations for sophist questions.
How can you debate someone that believes their opinion about your life, your fate is fact. You can't, its not a debate..
