There is a lot of anti-Spanish language on this board when it comes to it being used in the United States.
That's due to the fact that English is the language of government in the US.

So says the poster who has a poor comprehension of the English language.
"ENGLISH ONLY" is not propaganda, rather it is a point of view held based on logic, reason, common sense, federalism, republicanism, and the US Constitution.

Yes, I'm functionally fluent in Magyar and Bulgar; I can speak, but not read and write.
I'm better than conversationally fluent in Serbian and Slovakian; I cannot write, but I can read and comprehend fairly well, if written in Western Alphabet and not Cyrillic.

Yes, I spent most of my adult life outside the US, having spent more than 30 days in Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Egypt, Honduras, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Slovakia, South Korea, Thailand and Burkino Faso; more than three but less than 30 in Spain, Monaco, Ireland, Poland, Ukraine, Kuwait, Iraq, Morocco, Kosovo, the Czech Republic and Bulgaria.
Lived in the UK and Germany; presently reside in Romania, but am in the US for medical and [now] administrative reasons.
The cost of Spanish language et al should be borne by those who desire it, and not the restivus.
The language of the federal government is English. If you cannot speak, read or write English, then you need to find someone to translate federal documents for you for free ---- and if not, then you need to pony up the money for a translator.
The language of each State government is determined by the people of each State. If people in a State choose to recognize English and other languages, fine, and if not, that's fine, too.
As far as business, I move to avoid businesses that offer Spanish language, since their operating costs are higher, and those costs are passed onto the consumer in the form of higher prices.

Those who are pro bi-lingual accommodations, etc., please share your experiences regarding these questions as well!
What '"English only' propaganda" are you referring to?
It is only common courtesy to learn and speak the language of the country you are living in, it show the people of that country that you are interested in living there. I have lived in two countries that had English as a second language, I could have just spoke English and got by just fine, however, I did take the time to learn their language, most of the people to whom I spoke with, in their language, were pleased that I did. Like I said, it's only common courtesy.

Nonsense.
No one cares if someone speaks Spanish.
Many people think if someone resides it the United States they will be much better off if they also learn English. It makes sense that in an English speaking country one learns English as it helps the speaker economically and socially.
Only in liberal la-la land is wanting better economic and social opportunities for other people considered anti-immigrant, xenophobic and/or racist.
If I moved to Moscow it would make sense for me to brush up on my Russian. I wouldn't expect those commies to change their language to accomodate me.

I think the official language of this country should be English, and I am opposed to the accomodations we are making for people who refuse to learn our language.
I am fluent in multiple languages and was raised hearing German, French, Polish, Hebrew, and Yiddish on a regular basis. I am also proficient in Spanish. I have lived in countries where English is not spoken.
We don't oppose Spanish. We oppose it being imposed on us. If you take up permanent residency in another country, you should try to learn the language which is English. I find it disrespectful not to.
