"the poor" may indeed be costing the taxpayer "more and more". . . .all the more reason to provide policies that equalize income and prevent povery, in my opinion!

Not at all! We need to provide education and opportunity. . . .which is much more expensive than "food", but also much more "affordable" in the long run!

How does no opportunity equate to eating at mcdonalds every day and causing obesity? I know pretty dumb people who like salads too. Your not making much sense here.

Not to mention "profitable" especially if we are able to sell the goods and services to other countries.

If you can't afford housing near grocery stores, how do you make the trip to buy healthy food?
