Just more proof that Egypt is damaging itself as it attempts to nationalize all the businesses.

...The subsequent rulings have plunged a number of foreign companies operating in Egypt into legal limbo, exposing the government to the risk of costly international arbitration, that could scare off much-needed investment from abroad and adding to an already difficult business climate...

It's amazing that people who preached freedom at high costs in Iraq for 6 years suddenly have a problem with it.

Barack Obama has nothing to do with the revolution or election of the post revolution Government of Egypt. Quit grasping at straws...
Barack Obama and his Left wing nuts have EVERYTHING to do with it. They have been over there rabble rousing them into revolution for YEARS! Wake up swooner!

How is this Obama's fault? Egypt created their own revolution. The US publicly supported the overthrow of Mubarak, but that was only after it was already underway. And we never took any direct action either.

When Egyptians took to the streets to overthrow an oppressive government in 2011, the world was on their side. But in the two years that followed, as Arab Spring turned to Arab Winter, and Egyptians fell under the rule of the oppressive new government of Mohammed Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood, the world has looked away.
This is what Egyptians told us when we visited Cairo at the end of March 2013.
Many disillusioned Egyptians say things are worse than ever. Thugs often run the streets, crime rates have skyrocketed, and police feel they're outgunned, faced with the flood of weapons filling Cairo's streets.
Making matters worse, everything from utilities to gasoline is both more expensive and more difficult to acquire than it was before the Muslim Brotherhood.

Nothing to do w/Obama except you want desperately for it to be true. Poor you.

Source? Because from what I know, the US supported Mubarak for years to keep the region stable.

Correct. The US, as co-signers in the Peace Treaties with Egypt, Jordan & Israel supports each country no matter what leadership is in place. As long as US interests are not violated per the treaty, then the US (no matter who the President is) will support all three with extremely little negativity towards any of these three countries.

Supporting the revolution in Egypt was a two-fer for Zero: he made it impossible for any leaders to believe American promises in the future and he left the door wide open for an Islamist takeover of Egypt.

Way to go O!!!! /sarcasm off

I have a feeling that had we backed Mubarak (Which would have been impossible short of an invasion) that we'd have much bigger issues to deal with. Fact is we, and every other western power, saw the writing on the wall and threw moral support to the revolutionists in hopes that the liberals would gain power. The liberals than lost to the Muslim Brotherhood in elections, but the Brotherhood won over even more Islamist parties. The situation isn't good, but it could have been worse and Obama or any other foreign leader has about zero to do with what happened.
