With the euphoric market once again serving as a much needed distraction from far bigger geopolitical issues, many have forgotten the plethora of scandals the Obama administration has recently found itself engulfed in. This may change shortly, following news that the head of the US Department of Justice, Eric Holder himself, is now being investigated for lying under oath. Will he too receive an extended absence of leave (with pay) after pleading the fifth, or will the circle of lies slowly but surely start to unwind? Of course, in the New Normal it is probably not only expected, but given, that the chief legal enforcer is just a little more equal when it comes to the same justice he is tasked to enforce.

And Obama has Holder reviewing the cases and we are supposed to believe that Holder can be objective. Of course the Obama cult will believe Obama did his job and Holder is not a problem.

Can't trust Holder, guy just does not appear trustworthy in any way. Looks shifty don't trust what comes out of his mouth at all.

And he never knows a damn thing or is responsible in any way, when the issue is something very negative, what is that?

I don't trust Holder as far as i can throw him, trys to worm his way out of a bad situation.

If they want to learn about perjury, perhaps Democrats should look North as in one Oliver.

Since when has he not been under investigation by the House? They've been trying desperately to pin something, anything on him for five years.

He isn't the problem. As HD said, the problem is Republicans trying to get Obama at every turn.

And Ollie took the heat. More than Holder will ever do. Wasn't that the Democrats that went after Ollie?

Hey, I don't take either side, just get all the lawbreakers and put them behind bars. But then we wouldn't have anyone left in DC. Thinking about that, that would be a good thing.

Oh yeah, speaking of cults,

Justice Ends Bush-Era U.S. Attorney Scandal With a Whimper, Not a Prosecution

Quote:
For those of you now tuning back in, don't worry. You didn't miss much. The song remains the same. Harriet Miers, the former White House counsel, and Karl Rove, the former presidential adviser, fudged and fussed and never fully cooperated with the investigation. The president and vice president were spared the inconvenience even of subpoenas. Former Attorney General Gonzales was reprimanded -- but not officially sanctioned -- by government officials. And he and his sub-cronies, who systematically replaced professional attorneys at the Justice Department with partisan hacks, will not face prosecution (or, evidently, further investigation off Capitol Hill).
