Good because he was a RINO anyway. At least this way he can be with the others of like think.
In other words, a RINO is someone who doesn't follow the part line and reject science, the effects of fiscal stimulus/austerity, reject the fact that fiscal and monetary expansion is indeed expansionary or that tax-cuts don't increase revenues.
He was an Independent who aligned with the Republicans, and now because his approval ratings are so low has decided to switch to Democrat.
Let's look at this from the window; So, if you are an Independant (Chafee) or a Republican (Crist) and do a crappy ass job, the solution isn't to do a better job...but to join the Democrats?
Oh this is rich, another crony politician jumping ship from the party of faux-small-government to the party of underacheivement and broken promises. This country is so screwed up!
Of course, the actual RINO's are the Tea Party types who have taken the party from what it had been traditionally been.
That was ignorant at best. Tea Party is trying to bring it back to what it once was.
Progressives have destroyed both parties! Tea Party is not a wing of any party, and if both parties keep making fools of themselves, the Tea Party and Libertarians will align.
