It did make it to the top ten? Funny, I don't recall seeing "Thou shalt not be gay" in the ten commandments. Maybe it was on one of the tablets that Moses dropped?

Another huge assumption of your argument is that Jesus nullified all the laws from the Old Testament. Jesus himself said that the law of the Old Testament shall endure without change "not one iota" until the end of time. Of course elsewhere he says that he was sent to satisfy the old convenant and establish a new one. The bible is endlessly contradictive, most due to the various sects and time frames reponsibles for its authorships. In all the biblical quotes attributed to Christ, none refer to homosexuality. What little references exist in the New Testament come from the Pauline letters, some of which we know are forgeries. And Paul was notably obsessed with celibacy himself.
That is why the WHOLE bible needs to be read. But Sodom and Gomorrah was not destroyed just because of sex with children. The men wanted the angels to come out of Lot's house so they could have sex with them. They didn't want Lot's daughters, they wanted the angels, who were in the form of men. That was the final straw for God to wipe them out.

He quoted a translation of a book. One of many I might add, and not in the original language.

There is no proof that it IS the word of anyone but the MEN who wrote, translated, and edited it repeatedly.
Or did you think that the book was written in english and neatly bound for all eternity?

It's only in the special Director's Addition. The same place Han didn't shoot first

S&G were destroyed for being inhospitable to travelers. Or do you not believe your own gods words?

LOL, it doesn't say thou shall not give in to a sex addiction either but do not commit adultery covers it all.

Jude 1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. 8 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities

Sounds quite similar to what's happening to our society.

You're spinning your wheels. To progressives EVERYTHING (Bible, Constitution, History) is up for interpretation and revisioning; even the obvious.

I definitely don't think gay people should cheat on their spouse.

Funny, though, I feel the same about straight people!

I'm not committing adultery. We are only with each other, and neither one of us is married to someone else. We have made our vows to each other, and even had a minister do the ceremony.

That is only in the new gay interpretation of the bible. The bible scholars never would agree to that interpretation. How more hospitable can a man be than to offer up his daughters?

You really believe God would wipe out a whole town for not being "hospitable?" For not laying out cookies when a stranger comes by?
