Why are the countries with the highest unemployment rates in Europe the least socialistic? The fact that the OP doesn't even know that fact tells me he is a waste of space who isn't worth listening to.

Greece, Spain, Italy and Portugal are characterized by weak social safety nets, low social spending, no minmum wages, weak unions and loose banking regulations. Among the Eurozone countries, they've definitly been the ones running the closest to the American model. And they've had much the same results.
Except, they don't have control of their own currencies, and don't happent to be able to print up as much of the worlds reserve currency as they like, which is where the main economic difference lies.
Germany, Denmark, Austria etc are the ones with the big social safety nets.
Yep; it's those socialist countries that are dysfunctional alrighty!
