I stay away from popcorn. Carcinogens. Guy got cancer from eating too much. Have you been munching too much popcorn, eh, Yeledaf, eh??
I wonder why it is whenever a "flaming liberal" suggests oil may have been a prime motivator for our current engagement... it is always greeted by howls of outrage. Us go to war over something so crass?? Why, we are Americans. We would only invade a country to spread Freedom and Save the Planet from all of those EvilDoers out there in the night.
Never heard Tony Snow or Cheney mention going after oil once in all of their rousing updates.
At least your candor on this forum is refreshing.
It's not candor, it's simple realism. You ought to try it.

No thanks. I have seen your version of "realism" and where it has led us thus far in terms of lives, dollars, and global leadership and credibility (the real "realism", if you will). You can keep it.

Oh. You're one of those who pretends not to care about oil.

He clearly lied stating that the Taliban had been eliminated, just because many continue to enjoy wallowing in his lies doesn't mystically convert his self-delusions to fact.
Which successes have gone unreported? It seems like the AP and the New York Times have been pretty diligent in reporting monthly drops in violence, ceasefires, refugee returns, etc.

The news coverage from Iraq has been comparatively muted for the past few months. Tell me why.
You say it has, but I'm not sure if that's true or not. It could be that it's on fewer people's minds, that we're tired of it, that it's not bringing in the ratings, that Congress hasn't been fighting over it as much recently... who knows? You want to assume a particular answer, but there are many from which one could choose. Only an ideolouge would automatically assume.

An idealogue on either side, I might add.
