I remember reading somewhere that this is all in a fleeting hope that this proves the entire administration a fraud and everyone would be fired and they'd hold an emergency election where their GOP overlords would win in a sweeping landslide.
Never mind realising just how much this witch hunt is damaging -everyone- on the GOP side, even though the GOP has pretty much distanced itself from this insanity.

Both Obama and Biden will be killed by "Syrian terrorists". Speaker of the House, John Boehner, will cry up a storm as usual while taking the oath of office, and his first action as President will be to order the invasion of Iran. The House will vote that wounded soldiers and vets from the Iranian War will not be eligible for Obama Care and there will be no VA since the sequester will have gobbled it up by then. Instead, Halliburton will be given the contract to apply bandaids and supply soldiers with aspirin as needed.

Maybe more people would take your sad excuse for a political party seriously if you were truly focused on helping America, not birther conspiracies, voting to repeal the ACA for the four dozenth time, or lambasting the president's daughters for their vacation choice.
