i imagine it will be difficult to explain why they are not getting a congressional investigation of their "1,000% proven" evidence with trump in the WH and a republican controlled congress.
Arpaio is a classic case of Been On The Job Too Long.
He came to office in 1993, and he's now 84. 23 years is too long for any county sheriff to hold the office. Sheriff is a position for a mature man with law enforcement experience, but not an old man. Arpaio is a huge narcissist, and hung on far too long because he is. And the citizens of his country paid dearly for the excesses that came from his mental disease.
I expect he'll do a little jail time, just enough to humiliate him in his forced retirement, and all his crazy policies will be discarded, but he won't ever be sent up the river for years, and probably won't spend a day behind bars; house arrest is the most probable for him.
A rational man would have known his time was up years ago.
Thanks for bringing this back. It's good to remember the type of people who subscribed to this type of nonsense then, when they now say we should "get over it" after this month's election.
