This might have something to do with the outcome.

Given both chambers will not limit their own terms, people have the power to do so for them.

How long has Feinstein been a US senator? What you failed to ponder, was maybe it's such a large real estate company because Feinstein has been using her seat on the US senate to enrich her family's business.
This melds wonderfully with the trend in our government under 0bama, using your power and influence thru government to enrich yourself.

United States Postal Service (USPS) hired the world’s largest commercial real estate firm, CB Richard Ellis Group (CBRE), to sell the properties. Richard Blum is chairman of the board at CBRE. U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-California) is Richard Blum’s wife.
Most of the citizens served by those four thousand post offices soon to be for sale think Dianne Feinstein’s wifely relationship to CBRE’s Chairman Blum represents a conflict of interest. Such thinking is certain concerning California’s post offices and a strongly held belief among La Jollans about to lose their beloved building to a lifelong politician helping her husband.

"Leftist" have been for campaign finance reform, public funding for elections for years, and a stronger barrier between the public & private revolving doors. The only argument against it, is from Conservatives who don't want to give the gov't more power, and/or more money.

Dianne Feinstein needs to go away ASAP.
Exposed: Are Senator Feinstein and Her Cronies Looting the U.S. Post Office? | Occupy.com

Good criminals don’t leave calling cards at the crime scene: they cover their
tracks. In the hit movie Ocean’s Eleven, a group of cunning thieves meticulously
organize and pull off the heist of a Las Vegas casino. Now, some of America’s
most cunning and powerful real-life individuals may have pulled off a major
heist of the 21st century – the systematic pillaging of the U.S. Postal Service
and its assets.
Our cast of characters includes California senior U.S. Senator Dianne
Feinstein; her UC Regent husband Richard Blum, who is the president of Blum
Capital and chairman of the board for CB Richard Ellis (CBRE), the largest
commercial real estate developer in the world; and Tom Samra, the
multi-millionaire chief of the U.S. Postal Service’s facilities management
division.

Congress Acts Quickly to Kill Transparency For Their Own Shady Insider Trading
What could make the House pass something in 30 seconds that the Senate also passed? What would motivate them to put aside their alleged “differences” and act in the best interest of the people? The answer is when they are not acting in the best interest of the people, but rather, in their own best interests.
4/11/2013 Introduced in Senate
4/11/2013 Passed/agreed to in Senate: Introduced in the Senate, read twice, considered, read the third time, and passed without amendment by Unanimous Consent.
4/12/2013 Passed/agreed to in House: On passage Passed without objection.
4/12/2013 Presented to President.
On Tuesday the 15th, the President signed the legislation.
The Sunlight Foundation notes that the amendment passed with unanimous consent, though many members had gone home already.

Again, the establishment on both sides have to go. I hate cronyism, especially in the GOP. Our leadership are frauds. And clearly, there are plenty of crony Dems as well.
People need to realize something. Whom do BOTH GOP and Dem establishment hate and fear most? Conservatives, the Tea Party. Now as yourselves why. True Conservatives like Cruz arent going to play these stupid games. They will take on cronyism and these frauds.

I question the need to sell off Postal Assets at all. The government should not be selling these building but it should be renting them at local commercial rates to the private sector.

I highly doubt that, the company has been around since 1906, and has been a massive company long before Feinstein has been in office.
I will agree with you that it does sound questionable on how they got the contract, and if there was backroom deals due to that connection, though I highly doubt CB Richard Ellis needed Feinstein to get this deal to happen, they probably have a connection to most politicians.
I will point out the good news in this is that the USPS is finally selling off property they no longer need which is going to be good for the department and for the areas they sell. In Portland, Or this will mean the redevelopment of the downtown post office will be coming and will be an awesome site for redevelopment.

Yes both parties are stealing from us... only one party does it by taking taxpayer money to pay for the votes of their voting base and lies about it....
