the total cost of the military budget including Homeland Security, nukes GI benes etc eats up over half of our nation's budget.
The high cost of weapons creates far fewer jobs vs jobs for teachers, schools, roads & bridges where more money goes to the work force.
Not to mention all the money that flows to contractors, which then donate to political campaigns for their efforts.
Nothing like 2 years of required community service in the U.S. to help teens figure out what they want to be when they grow up.
No college or missionary work exemptions. Door knocking in Paris looking for converts does not count.
Neither does female missionary work, housekeeping and cooking for the male door knockers.
Involuntary servitude is prohibited by the Constitution. Thank God.
Well you see if your military is nothing more than a mercenary force, someone should pay for them OTHER than Joe ******* taxpayer because he has absolutely no say in what chit-hole they're being sent to further the wealth/prestige/influence of a higher-up!
