I cannot believe that it's ok in anyone's mind that an administration official bypass and subvert Congress to get money for something that Congress said "no" to.
Oliver North did this and what an uproar that caused, but now? SILENCE!

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius has gone, hat in hand, to health industry officials, asking them to make large financial donations to help with the effort to implement President Obama’s landmark health-care law, two people familiar with the outreach said.
Budget request denied, Sebelius turns to health executives to finance Obamacare

Oliver never spent one penny of taxpayer money. Iran/Contra used PROFITS from the sale of other resources to fund the operations.

I'm sure she'll "return the favor" for those donations of money to help Obamacare get off the ground.

The problem is that she tried to hide and lie about it for so long. It can be read that Congress did give her the O.K. but it was another of those things we had no idea about until after it passed.

It's simply amazing that people are willing to allow people like this to be over your health care decisions.

The comparison is Congress didn't approve and yet it was done anyway. In her case they said NO.
The issue is Congress is the only "body" allowed to appropriate money.

I'm sure we'll start getting the "this is just a side show" soon, we'll just add it to the other scandals that are surfacing like poop at a sewer plant.

There is no comparison between what North did and what Sebelius is or has done.

North was not raising or soliciting funds for a private third party. The funds North acquired belonged to the government, as such they were subject to Congressional directives and oversight.

Sebelius on the other hand "asked that they contribute whatever they can to nonprofit groups that are working to enroll uninsured Americans and increase awareness of the law." The government has no ownership of the funds being solicited and therefore has no say in how the funds are spent.

Default Sebelius is God

If this fine woman did this, guess what? SHE IS IN THE RIGHT.

We've got stupid Republicans in Congress opposing all that makes sense. They obstruct for irrational reasons. Simply the TOE JAM of this society. It's clear that if anything positive is going to get done, bypassing the Congress broken by Republicans, is necessary.

Kudos to Sebelius. She's far greater than any Republican. What she represents is far superior to all that the Republican ideology stands for.

At a minimum, if she was doing her "fundraising" on the taxpayer's dime, she's in BIG trouble.
