It hasn't convinced me that I am, though. However, when I reach the pearly gates I guess I won't be able to plead ignorance, sadly.
When you question biblical literalists it's really hard for them to come off sounding good isn't it?
Someone who is not a "biblical literalist" would be someone who construes the Bible's teachings to support their pet cause. Liberals are really good at pretending they love Jesus while twisting and contorting the word of the Bible.
Then why do they seem to pick on gay people in life, when supposedly all sins are equal? If we can all repent, then we should all be treated the same by Christians - right?? That's how I see it, and yet I'm not aware of churches or Christian groups denying services to other "sinners." They conveniently ignore what you're claiming here, and go after ONE group more so than any other. Why??
The gay agenda is being pushed on the public. If organization such as Nambla was doing the same , many would voice their beliefs against it. Nambla in the seventies was accepted by the gay organizations but parted with nambla because it hindered the gay acceptance with society.
Of course not!! God wants everyone to come to the cross of Jesus and repent of their sins.. God doesn't take pleasure with killing his own. Satan is the one that is the killer. Satan will lead many into the pit. God is the savior through his son Jesus. The word is plain. God is the God of Love. Satan comes to kill , steal and destroy. Satan makes people turn from God and follow him. As God said. My people perish for lack of knowledge.
Satan flooded the earth and killed everyone except for Noah and his family? Satan sent the she-bears to kill the children? Satan ordered the destruction of entire cities, killing every inhabitant? I had no idea! I must have read a different bible.
