I don't think anyone is saying you have to care about anybody else. Personally, I see benefit from caring about others. If you have no interest why would you be on this thread?
Depends on how they get their money. I would not automatically assume you know the source of funds. Certainly this seems more relevant to world affairs than whom Tom Cruise is sleeping with.
