I think this should be considered in legislation for education reform as well.

We have a partially subsized VPK program that starts at 3-4yrs old I believe.
But I think education should begin earlier than Kindergarten.

No they just play with toys all day, go with mom to the store and get fed.

Kids should be sent to some type of educational center starting at 8-12 months.
That depends on the parent, my sister in law is a stay at home mom and her 2yr old daughter has known sign language at a young age, is constantly being educationally stimulated, and has learned so much in just two years.

Raising a child takes work, and it is the responsibility of a parent to invest interest in their children. The more the grow educationally at home, the more they grow educationally in society and in school.

I will venture to say most mothers are not like your sister in law.
Aso does she have a plan o just wings it as far as stimulation and education? There are steps that should be followed. You can not just throw all different concepts at children.

It already does as long as the parents aren't careless.

Perhaps the Governor of Mississippi was chewing and thus could not hear it when the Louisiana Governor said" “Stop being the stupid party.”
