No. He did not.

Nice try though.
The guy in question wouldn't go to Obama's house and Jesus threw these guys out of his house.

“About five or six weeks ago, our president made a comment in a speech and he said, ‘God bless Planned Parenthood,’” Birk told the radio station. “Planned Parenthood performs about 330,000 abortions a year. I am Catholic, I am active in the pro-life movement, and I just felt like I couldn’t deal with that."
The football star said that while he has "great respect for the office of the president," he "couldn't endorse" the president's support for the country's top abortion organization "in any way."

Mr. Jalsevac relates what Mr. Birk told the National Catholic Register:

If people were told the truth about abortion, no one would ever seek out the procedure. We hear about “choice” and “reproductive rights,” but no one is ever told by an abortionist, “I will kill your baby by ripping off its arms and legs.”

"Matt Birk isn’t afraid to speak up for the innocent. Way to go."

Great man to speak up for the defenseless.

How will the president recover from this terrible disappointment?

What makes him such a great man.....his opinion. Does that make me a great woman for my opinion And fetuses have no arms and legs in the first trimester. I think Birk needs to be more informed before he speaks. He just looks stupid...sorry

He's now a clown in the Obama admin running the FDA. King honcho Monsanto loon to boot.
It's amazing how an Ivy League athlete who's supposed to be a smart guy can't separate the office from the man occupying it and worse, he can't for a few hours forget about politics long enough to shake the hand of the president. It's pathetic, and it doesn't show well for a man with so much supposed "Christian character."

Uh...i don't think you have the story correct.

Regardless, if the President of this country calls, you answer. It's that simple. That's always been the tradition in this country. Be a frickin' big boy and set politics aside for two seconds. Especially if you fancy yourself as some sort of big time Christian.

Separate the man from the office? That is an idiotic. bs statement, that you fell for. So it was the office that killed all those Pakistani children and not the man? Good to know.

It's called character when you stand up for what you believe in as opposed to what someone tells you to do, to go along to get along. You wouldn't know about the former.

Bow down to your President mundane. I called you, therefore you must answer your master.
It doesn't matter if the tradition isn't any good or you disagree with the President, it's a tradition right? Good to see the lemming in you come out yet again. Thinking for yourself is hard.

Perhaps you need to read it again then.

Oh, so now the TRADITION is no good all of a sudden? Hmmm...that's strange.

LMAO...you guys will attribute character to a cockroach if Obama has a can of Raid in his possession. That's how pathetic your nonsense is.

Oh, and nice way to feign outrage over the killing of "Pakistani children."

BTW...I'm sorry that thinking for yourself is hard. Maybe there's a remedy for that. (You can start by turning off your daily 16 hour dose of Fox News)

Abortion is such a non-issue. It's trotted out now and then by the politicos to stir up the fringe, fundamentalist elements of their party--the people who want big nanny-state, Big Brother government intervention into people's lives.

Roe v. Wade will never be overturned, and even if it was, that only makes policies regarding abortions a states' rights issue. It's not as if all 50 states are going to outlaw abortion.

Abortion will always be available in the United States, under safe and clinical conditions, as it should be.
