Here's the rub: No one wants nor expects 100% security! I don't, none of my friends or family do. Where does the govt get the idea the people want this? They manufacture it to justify their power grabs. Give me less security, more privacy and more freedom please. This whole elevation of security above all else since 9/11 is just insanity.
And how does getting phone records of who called who, give you that information? I'd be inclined to think that sales records would provide it but here ya are, telling me they can find them because they log you calling your mother.
