Judge orders girl added to adult lung transplant list - Vitals=

"A federal judge on Wednesday ordered the U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary to suspend existing organ allocation rules to give a 10-year-old Pennsylvania girl a better chance at a life-saving lung transplant.
U.S. District Court Judge Michael Baylson told Kathleen Sebelius to direct the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network, or OPTN, to make an exception to the so-called "Under-12" rule as it applies to Sarah Murnaghan, who has end-stage cystic fibrosis, for at least 10 days, until a hearing on June 14. That move means that the girl can be considered more quickly for organs as an adult, instead of being limited to the pediatric transplant list."

An adult lung can be put into a child. The whole lung doesn't need to be used.

And what happens with the next parent that wants a "special exemption" for their child?

The transplant list requirements were set by DOCTORS.
JUDGES should not be making medical decisions.

Why that abortion called Obamacare should have been stillborn.

But idiots on the left wanted what they believed was "free" healthcare and all they got was this abortion born alive.

You reap what you sow.

I applied and got an exemption from Obamacare.

politicians should not be making medical decisions either. nor should judges be making law either. too bad both of these things already happen.

this is what you get when you get activist judges and politicians that think they know what is best for you.

I have my own insurance paid for my me. However that has nothing to do with posters who were railing against government making medical decisions now applauding government making medical decisions.

Hypocrites.
