Free market capitalism was absolutely hated.
The health care system was taken over by the government.
Big Brother police state constantly monitored everything that German citizens did.
There were massive increases in government spending.
Taxes were raised dramatically in order to pay for all of these social programs.
Government regulation of business got wildly out of control.
God was mocked and religion was pushed out of every corner of public life.
Abortion was made "safe and legal" in Germany.
In Nazi Germany, killing the "defective", the "weak" and the "disabled" was considered to be a good thing because it made the German people "stronger".
Abortion was a major and capital crime under the Nazis. When you make such a huge error, EVERYTHING you say becomes suspect.
If Rush is not attempting to equate Obama and Hitler, then his point must be that the liberals Obama selected for government positions are carrying out liberal policies because he's liberal and so are they.
If Rush is not attempting to equate Obama and Hitler, then his point must be that the liberals Obama selected for government positions are carrying out liberal policies because he's liberal and so are they.
That's very likely true, but is it worth saying?
Rush could have very well made that point without injecting Hitler into his thoughts...But he did not.
He made the point...using Meyer, but making his own[Rush's] assessment...
Quote:
All they had to do was listen to what Hitler was saying. All they had to do was listen to what his objectives were. And he said the same thing's happening here with this administration.
Rush went there. Lets not try to rub it clean.
Why cant the Right just acknowledge what is there for everyone to see?
Free market capitalism was absolutely hated. Lol, big business and the rich are doing better than ever. Middle class not so much. I thought you guys hated the middle class?
The health care system was taken over by the government. Taken over? So the fact I have to buy insurance from a corporation makes it government run? Lol
PS: I thought mandates were a Republican idea originally?
Big Brother police state constantly monitored everything that German citizens did. Police state started before Obama but he has truly embraced the police state. Agree on this point
There were massive increases in government spending Agan lol, massive spending was going on before Obama. Social programs put in place to avoid riots over the destruction of the middle and working classes to appease to global economy. Repubs support this too
Taxes were raised dramatically in order to pay for all of these social programs. Which taxes were raised dramatically?
Government regulation of business got wildly out of control. Lol, tell that to lobbyist who own Washington DC. They write policy
God was mocked and religion was pushed out of every corner of public life.
Abortion was made "safe and legal" in Germany. What happened to separation of church and state?
In Nazi Germany, killing the "defective", the "weak" and the "disabled" was considered to be a good thing because it made the German people "stronger". Is this happening now? Republicans believe only rich people who can afford it should be able to live or get treatment
What you and Rush seem to have forgotten is that your side's version of Adolf Hitler is no longer in the White House, and the guy who's there now is as far from a socialist as you can get without being a Republican.
Isn't it amazing how, from the far extremes, right or left, someone in the middle looks like they're at the other extreme. It's a failure to understand perspective. Sad to watch.
Truly pathetic.
