Hopefully the press keep on this to help protect the guy.

I'm just glad this revelation will severely hurt NSA's ability to hire high quality analysts.

It was asked for and promoted by the Obama administration. Then they denied that they were doing it unitl they got caught with their hand in the cookie jar and are attempting the old Washington two step along with exposing other distractions to keep violating the rights of citizens.

You think that this is noble? What did you think of Hitler and his tactcics? These are just a modernization of those tactics.

I cannot believe you are not bothered by the government accesing our web and phone data. I don't know how people can place this must trust in a group of "expert" judges who have vetted the process of obtaining our data...

It's so 1984ish it's ridiculous. Is this expert panel of judges going to be delivering Newspeak to us in the coming years?

No, when the objective is the same. Deny it as much as you will, but you should know it is true.

Even if I were to find this agreeable (that this data is fair game), they should at least communicate that the to the people so that citizens have an informed choice about whether to engage in such communication methods.

Now he is in China... Will he sell more secrets for protection from China government?

On May 20, he boarded a flight to Hong Kong, where he has remained ever since. He chose the city because "they have a spirited commitment to free speech and the right of political dissent", and because he believed that it was one of the few places in the world that both could and would resist the dictates of the US government.

It was an EO and government and media colluded to convince Americans that the Japanese Americans were a threat to America.
They used the confidential census data to round up Japanese Americans.
The government denied they did that until 2007.

And yet again..this court order is not "listening to phone calls".
do you even know the issue you are commenting on ?

Time will tell.
They are not shocked. They defend the program, and the U.S. Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court which authorized the actions.

No, anyone who blindly goes along with anything that Obama suggests is a 100% fool. If the shoe fits, wear it.

Besides, didn't Obama promise to change the atmosphere in DC? Guess he meant change for the worse.
