The need for new flags would create jobs. Isn't that what the big-gov't types always tell us when they want to build a sports stadium, open a new agency, build a new city hall, etc?
No, the new flags would not create more jobs... At least not anywhere here. They'd all come from China.
Kind of a one trick pony joke you guys keep running with. Just about every candidate during their campaign stumble and say something like that. It isn't even funny, Obama accidentally said 57 states, who cares.
But Obama said it at most of his campaign stops ! He truly is an idiot
How does North Colorado sound? From Fox News - "Officials in eight northern Colorado counties united in opposition to the state's new gun control laws and oil and gas regulations are reportedly considering forming a 51st U.S. state called North Colorado."

The question is - Why was he confusing them with Heinz Ketchup?
We get the same idea here in Northern Virginia occasionally. If North Colorado would ever happen, then Northern VA would be next. They would also cancel each other out, since NoVA is very liberal compared to the rest of the state.
California has been trying to segregate the state for years due to the fact that the northern state is held hostage to the idiots in the rest of it.
It will never happen because it is near impossible to separate the state's funds. Much of what you see being built in rural areas comes from the money in the cities and there isn't really any strong city to support the northern end of California....though I do agree when California was being settled, it should been divided into two or three states.

Not sure I understand your question actually.
