I don't care who sat in the Oval Office.

You think the President does this type of work ?
You think Bush personally designed the move from landline to cellphone ?

It was poor planning and design on the part of the FCC.
And the move in 2009 was planned when ?
Normally these moves are planned years in advance.

Only 38 states participate, but that doesn't matter. There are only 12.5million of these phones, so 3.6 million is a huge percentage and gives a good sample. Reality doesn't support conservatives lies and those stats on a small program doesn't explain the intense scrutiny of the program. This is a tiny program that benefits 4% of the population at most and costs .057% of the federal budget a literal rounding error of spending.

Again, the military, by the military's own admission regularly losing billions and billions of dollars every year, where is the conservative outrage over a much larger program?

We know that politicians regularly steer contracts to private industry which total in the billions and billions of dollars, where is the conservative outrage over that much larger potential waste?

We know that corporations regularly cheat on their taxes where is the conservative outrage over that much larger real fraud?

No conservatives save all their venom for programs that benefit poor people. SMH.

Big difference my friend.
The BIG difference is the whiney righties whine about anything Obama does or doesn't do while giving Reagan a pass on anything he did or didn't do

So why are you commenting on the thread??

The thread is about conservatives who complain about government phones during the Obama years but not during the Bush or Reagan years.

I complained and even sent emails to my congress critter over the skyrocketing costs.

If the citizens don't take our representatives to task then who will ?

The public outrage worked.
The FCC reformed and fixed the program.
All should be good now; at least better than before.

Why are you so upset there was outrage to begin with ?
Should we all just be quiet and not speak out if we see something wrong ?
