Never worked for any of those. I've worked for Hardee's, Domino's. 7-11, Papa Johns, Little Caesars - some of which others here have claimed offer benefits - and some mostly local independents.
Then don't say that you have worked for them or that they don't provide benefits. Btw, 7-11, Papa John's, and Dominoes do provide benefits.

Also do this apply to part-time because this is where we have seen the increase: part-time, minimum wage jobs?
I looked at Kohl's benefits and they only offer a fraction of the services to store employees as they do at corporate headquarters:
As you can see, in store employees are not as
Most places have a waiting period for full benefits. But the original claim was that min wage employers do not provide benefits.

Yes, someone else in this forum previously said the above do offer benefits, which is why I claimed to have worked for "them" - I understood your list as not intended to be exhaustive, but to illustrate that many of these fast food employers do offer benefits.
But during the time I worked at those places i never ever heard a word about benefits. I've just assumed that min wage and no benefits is standard in fast food, with high employee turnover, and i've never expected that someone would ask about benefits for a job flipping burgers.
all day today i've been hearing that women today earn 77 cents for every dollar earned by men. (apparently the big 0 commented on this and got a lot of media coverage)
at min wage workplaces, the "wage gap" is low to nonexistent or maybe even negative (i.e. women earn more than men).
so shouldn't feminists consider this sector to at least be egalitarian?
we should be campaiging for 'machoism' really, because a hot girl will earn more than a man in many jobs, eg: waitress, barstaff, hooking, stripping, porno flick etc..and they can marry a man for money far easier than the other way around
so that is blatant discrimination and should be dealt with somehow!
I agree wages should be equal but we have to remember that men and women are different when it comes to negotiations. I made this post earlier on in the thread.

I wonder if any other people have opinions on this idea.
FYI, the professor for this course was a woman. She was asked about the wage gap.
Yeah, some women use it simply to put women down.
Glad you're for equality, njm.
For you who aren't.
Some day that will be your daughter making 77% of a man's salary for doing the same job.
Don't whine and tell her the truth, that you support her making less because she's a woman.

If everyone made 10 cents an hour the cost of the product is drastically dropped. The minimum wage is a joke, you cannot increase the value of your work by having the government set a figure.
McDonald's worker makes $7.50/hour and they pay $5 for McDonald's meal
McDonald's worker makes $75/hour and they pay $50 for McDonald's meal
McDonald's worker makes $750,000/hour and they pay $500,000 for McDonald's meal
The only way you increase your pay is to increase the value of your work.
The value of those jobs isn't determined by the free market. It's distorted by things like food stamps
