Saudi billionaire Prince Alwaleed bin Talal has sued Forbes magazine for libel in a British court, alleging its valuation of his wealth at $20 billion was short of the mark by $9.6 billion, Britain's Guardian newspaper reported on Friday.
The prince, a grandson of Saudi Arabia's founder and nephew of King Abdullah, had attacked the U.S. magazine's ranking of world billionaires as flawed and biased against Middle Eastern businesses after he was ranked number 26 in this year's list.
The prince is the second largest single shareholder ( Murdoch is #1) of NewsCorp, parent of Fox News and WSJ. He and Murdoch have substantial mutual interests in all sorts of media businesses.
I love listening to him when he give interviews. The man is refreshingly straight forward in his answers. He does interviews from a tent out in the desert. It would be like Obama doing one from a grass hut on the White House lawn. Gotta love it!
To bad obama doesn't send a drone to bomb him and the rest of the "prince's" family.
