You can all exhale now: It appears the armed march on Washington scheduled for July 4 has been called off. Organizer Adam Kokesh announced his decision Tuesday on an Internet talk show, which was later picked up by Media Matters. Rather than have gun-rights activists march on Washington, he said, they should “appeal on a state level” and protest at state capitols. Kokesh has not elaborated on the interview since. While local law enforcement can rest easier — barring the emergence of some sort of wildcat protest here — now 50 more locales need to make plans. “We have a couple of tricks up our sleeve in terms of what’s going to be happening the day of the event,” Kokesh said on Tuesday. “People can do whatever they want, whatever they feel is appropriate in their home state.” No more July 4 gun march
I wonder what happened? Some folks were SO looking forward to it.
Perhaps they realized that although the DC police might roll over, the Capitol police wouldn't.
Most stabilized countries will not fall in our lifetime. The only serious way our country or any other civilized country will fall is if something drastic happens like lack or power, fuel, or water. Or even a massive climate change. What you are seeing in the news will be nothing more than a few chapters in the history books.
Are we that stable? you do know that China and Russia and other countries would like to change USD as the world reserve currency. That is a possible scenerio for the STHF or a war.

A war between China, Russia, and the US makes no sense because it would be bad for business. So no, it isn't a possible scenario.

Of course you have no way to prove that, but never mind..that's what the romans said...that's what the greeks said...that's what the french said in 1787....that's what the russians said in 1917...it used to be said that the "sun never sets on the british empire"...but it did, didn't it?....etc..etc...throughout history the one constant is that humans will eventually revolt and overthrow their government when it becomes too oppressive/corrupt.
More effective than any protest is voting the old dogs out of the House and especially the Senate.
heh heh...that's funny..as if we can "vote" our way out of this mess.
You may eventually notice that all politicians are pretty much the same...both parties are pretty much the same...oh..they SAY different things but don't listen to what they say..watch what they do.

In the war business has been waging against its former allies, labour and government, do you think business has won? Or do you think democracy still has a chance to resurface?
It won't happen. Conservatives are too busy working, supporting their families, and being good citizens.
Liberals are the ones who gather in the streets and have million-idiot parades. And their entitlement checks just keep on rolling in.
News for you, conservatives don't have a monopoly on jobs and families. What you imagine about liberals is just false. We're just as responsible as conservatives.
On the topic of taking to the streets, most realize these are phony scandals. The government didn't lie about Benghazi. It released what it thought was the truth at the time that happened not to be correct. Nobody is losing sleep over the IRS looking at political tea bragger groups trying to get exempt status as non-political charities either.
