Yes, but Obama's job approval rating is below 40% for the Middle Class, under 40% for American's that aren't black, under 40% for Independents. Those are horrible numbers. Obama's overall numbers are propped up by a near 90% approval rating for blacks. How have blacks fared under Obama? Less income, worse employment rate, more food stamps, more blacks in poverty, less black household income etc...why do blacks approve of Obama more than any other group even people that self-identify as "liberals"?

This poll had 41% of its respondents claim to be Democrats while just 26% claim to be Republican so it isn't a poor political sampling either...and yet Obama struggles.

I am talking about Today. 2013. Bush is currently above Obama in the areas I mentioned.

I had a lot of friends and family that lost thier jobs due to that.
I wonder if this is the calculus behind the immigration. If you read the comments in the NY Times after an immigration reform article the comments seem to run 9-1 in opposition. Yet doubtful many of the liberals opposed would vote for a GOP candidate as result, conversely it's doubtful a GOP member would vote for a Dem as a result if their GOP candidate voted for it.

That is one of the tragedies...loyal to party and not ideas or principles.

In other words, he's in a heck of a lot of trouble heading into election season, and with all of these scandals swallowing up his administration, those numbers have nowhere to go except up.

And the only thing Obama does is campaign and fundraise. He doesn't seem to know anything that is going on. Today he just did 3 fundraisers.

He could be a drag on his party in the 2014 election. Some Democrats will try to distance themselves from him. These numbers could go up, but they could remain flat or even dip further for the time being.

Remember, these scandals also made many people revisit some of Obama's past lies, broken promises, etc... Whereas you rarely hear about those unless you specifically look for them through conservative media.

Every poll that releases its data in the RCP average has Obama's approval ratings in the 30s with non-black voters, middle class voters, and independents.

The proof is right before your eyes. Refusing to see it is your problem. The MSM is in Obamas pocket.

By the actions taken and excused by the Obama administration (well Bush did it!) apparently wrong actions are allowed, if it is the dems doing them. Just because you support thieves and liars does not make it right.

But anyway, the Democratic Party already does represent all Americans. We have black, white, hispanic, asian, gay, straight, religious, and non-religious members.

The Republican Party is basically a white, Christian party.
Then, by your own statement, you just lied. If the democratic party does not represent those in the Republican party, they do not represent "all Americans". Unless you consider those who oppose your little cabal to not be "Americans".
