Up until Obama became President this NSA data grabbing was abuse of power and violating the Constitution.
What happened besides a Dem becoming President and continuing that "abuse of power" and "violating the Constitution" ?

The NSA was still grabbing data which are records which are not wire taps.

Ask the senate.

This link shows who voted for it since its inception under Bush.

Obama was in the Senate and that's what he said when he was Senator.
And then he went and voted FOR it anyway and all it's amendments and extensions.
The flip flopping along party lines is truly astounding.

Few took a stand and stuck with it through today.

The flip-flop of massive scale is the Republican senators who voted for the NSA and are now pretending to be out raged!

Again, look at the map. It has the senate vote from 2001 through 2012.

Which ones are outraged ?
From what I've read they're all cautiously standing behind Obama.

Clapper said all of Congress was briefed and I've read that Rand Paul said he wasn't briefed.
Bernie Sanders said we're heading to 1984.

Geeze that was great! 'Clinton the Impeached' sells us out to red commie china, and we patriots are the terrorists huh?

I have no idea how that man dares show his face in public these days. Must be the bodyguards for life he voted for himself. No doubt they have full auto weapons because there are more than one set of laws in the USA now.

The Idiot liar n' Thief we have now hangs ho ho ho chi chi min on the national x-mass tree, and again 'WE' are the terrorists WAUGH! That's a great joke...

Well the good thing is about 1/2 of us know WHO the real terrorists are... That's about 1/2 on congress and the Democrat Admin.

They can be my guest and push a just a little more.... They better start to worry about what it is they wished for.

Default Hmmm..What if Edward Snowden is a Plant??

It is true we knew we were being spied on all the way back to Bush.
Prior to that, no American would have ever accepted American's were being spied on and anyone making such a claim would have been called a tin foil hat wearer.

What if this is being done to bring it all out in the open intentionally?

First came denial that the government would ever spy on us.
Then came the revelation out in the open.
Now we have anger against it.
Next is acceptance.

Then afterwards, comes an expansion of these powers now that the cat is out of the bag.

I mean, what is anybody going to do about it?
