New report: Britain spied on G-20 delegates in 2009 - CNN.com

Britain's electronic intelligence agency monitored delegates' phones and tried to capture their passwords during an economic summit held there in 2009, the Guardian newspaper reported Sunday.

The targets included British allies such as Turkey and South Africa, the newspaper reported. The Guardian cited documents provided by Edward Snowden, the American computer analyst now spilling secrets of the U.S. intelligence community.

Good. The world needs to know.
They are beyond "terrorists" now, way beyond merely hunting for terrorists.

That article was about the UK spying on G20 attendees.
I went and found the Guardian article and read that.
We were spying on the UK spies that were spying on the G20 attendees.

The G8 meets on Monday and guess where ? LOL..the UK.
Maybe they'll be back to homing pigeons and messages attached to their feet

The point is that Snowden spills everything he has, and apparently he has a lot of damaging information about us and our allies.

Newsflash: Bush is no longer President, either. Looks like you'll just have to get over it.

This one's on 0bama and (split my gut laughing) Biden.

OMG! What have we done!!!!!

I haven't decided if Snowden is a traitor or a hero. I'm leaning with hero.I mean, really, what has he said so far that any first grader didn't already know? Only a total and complete, 100% fool would believe the government, yes, our government, is here to help us.

The Obama/Cheney team disagree with our opinion on Snowden. You best get with the program if you don't want to be considered an Enemy of the State.

Like everyone says..we knew this was going on for years.

Didn't worry anyone before. I guess because it was deniable by the USG since no one could prove it.
Damage ? LOL..just shows how deceiving we are, how corrupt we've become.
Spying on our allies.

Quite obvious that this data gathering is not for hunting down terrorists and keeping us safe anymore..is it ?
Now that we have the technology we're the "global nosey nelly"
