The Boomers created almost modern technology their is today.

I think our greatest contribution will be building an Economy that is also good for the community. At least that's what I'm doing with my ventures.
Good for you. Last time I had a position to fill I was bombarded with cover notes written in text-speak, applicants who clearly had not even bothered to read and consider the job requirements, and people who had no idea how to actually communicate using business style/language. It was sad.

I think they will make a difference, has anybody noticed how excited they have gotten over Bernie Sanders, they were turned off by the political system but they have seemed to have fallen in love with this old man.
While we were brought up thinking that socialism was a dirty four letter word they haven't.
I think the Occupy Movement showed that they were ready to get involved in change.
I would also say it depends if you lean left or right if you think it is an improvement or not.

I'm a millennial and would never vote Bernie Sanders. Hell, I would take Hillary Clinton over him, and I would never vote for Hillary in a million years. I don't want a socialist in the white house.

Most educated: So? Simply having a college degree has nothing to do with the topic at hand. Vanity degrees (Liberal Arts, MFA, etc.) have minimal value to society at large and will, in all likelihood, result in the recipient of said degree needing public assistance at some point (due to lack of well-paying employment opportunities). Make no mistake about it: spending money on a degree that doesn't help pay the bills makes less sense than spending it on an expensive sports car. At least with a car you can sell it and recover some of your costs. The fact that Millennials are the most educated isn't indicative of anything in terms of their ability to make the world a better place. In fact, your generation's tendency to look down on skilled trades is disgusting. A plumber contributes far more to society than some joker with an MFA.

Worldly: I don't even know what that means (I know what the word means - I don't know why you're using it in the context of this discussion) and I seriously doubt you can provide empirical data to prove it anyway. How, exactly, does one measure worldliness?

Tech savvy: Millennials are no more tech savvy (you can't even spell it correctly) than previous generations were when viewed in the context of the technology available to previous generations in their youth. On a related note, the technology Millennials are so proud of was developed primarily by prior generations. Also, the ability to use a computer, smart phone, etc. hardly makes one tech savvy. You're just an end-user. Nothing special about that. The fact is, until Millennials are much older, there's no way to know if they are as tech savvy as current older people. All generations were capable of learning the technology of their time. Learning anything - including technology - becomes more difficult as one ages. You simply can't compare the comfort level of a 25 year with a smart phone to that of an 80 year old with a smart phone. A more appropriate comparison would be the 80 year old's comfort with technology from 55 years ago.

Most tolerant? BS. Millennials are only tolerant of people that agree with them. Your generation mocks religion and anything else they don't like. Ironically, your post mocks boomers and old people. So much for tolerance.

Discipline and humility? Seriously? You're here pontificating about a spectrum of issues with minimal life experience. Frankly, you are simply too naive to know what you're talking about and incredibly arrogant to think that you do. That being said, every generation was exactly the same in their youth. You'll realize how dumb you are when you get some time under your belt. Save your post and read it when you're 55 or 60. I guarantee you'll cringe at your younger self's grotesquely inflated ego.

The Boomers caused the recession? Yep. And so will your generation. Several recessions, in fact. You're naivety is simultaneously quaint and frustrating.

One thing all generations have in common is that we all thought we were the ones that were going to change the world. It simply didn't happen for most of us (although huge strides in civil rights for women and minorities have been made in the past 100 years - with no help from Millennials), and probably won't for you either. Millennials really aren't that different from Boomers, Gen X, etc. I don't believe any of the negative stereotypes about Millennials, nor do I believe in their grandiose declarations of being special. You're just a bunch of enthusiastic young people - like we all were at one time. I really do hope your generation changes the world, but, so far, you haven't displayed any behavior that indicates you'll fare any better than prior generations.

We've been there, done that. Do some research on the 60's hippies. Same story, different time. As I said in my previous post, Millennials are really no different than young people of years past.

Hard to tell, honestly. One hand they seem to be mostly progressive-thinkers. On the other, they seem to be all talk and no action.
