It wouldn't surprise me if both sides "stacked" their interns with some former "ringers" who played college ball just for this game. lol

The Congressional Baseball Game has been around since the early 1900's. Since 1962 the game has been sponsored by a local newspaper.

The money raised by the game goes to fund local charities. This year's game raised over $300,000 for the Washington Literacy Center, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Washington and the Washington Nationals Dream Foundation.

The dems used a trick...they wrote 'Budget' on the balls they pitched to the Republicans and the Republicans avoided them. Then they wrote 'Immigrant Votes' on the balls pitched to themselves and they were all over them.
