Mad? It's preposterous that he was acquitted of murder. You actually think it was ok for him to murder her?
If she committed theft then yes. Something doesn't make sense though. If he gave her the money and she left without providing sex, then it is failure to perform - a civil tort - not theft.

I know, I read it. What doesn't make sense is how that is considered theft and not failure to perform. For instance, if you pay someone to mow your lawn and they don't you have to take them to court, not call the cops.
