PARSIPPANY, N.J., JUNE 17, 2013 — /PRNewswire/ -- Actavis, Inc. (NYSE: ACT) today announced that the United States Supreme Court has reversed the decision of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, which had affirmed the District Court's ruling granting Actavis' motion to dismiss the Federal Trade Commission's lawsuit, FTC v. Actavis, Inc.
^^^ This! OP, if you want to start a discussion, could you perhaps state what you think the important issues are? And linking to a public relations site wasn't really helpful.
Looks like the SC said the FTC suit should not have been dismissed. OK. What's the issue? The few items I could find were almost as convoluted as that press release.
I opened this thread hoping someone could boil this decision down for me because all accounts of it have been, as Karen said, convoluted, so much so that it convinced me that the matter is so specific and esoteric that it hasn't been worth my effort to dig in and untangle it myself.
