Documentary aims to 'break silence' on crash of TWA Flight 800 - CNN.com

CNN) -- Skeptics who have long theorized that TWA Flight 800 was brought down by sinister forces will get a fresh surge of energy when a new documentary attempts to disprove that the 1996 crash was accidental.
The twist: It includes six members of the large accident investigation team who, publicists say, will "break their silence" on the cause of the explosion.

I'm going to predict nebulous claims, not any new information that would warrant reopen a investigation, and that this will just be another UFO/Loose Change/crazy story

I think the plane was accidentally shot down by the US Navy.

If the plane was brought down by anything other than mechanical, electrical or hydraulic failure, the administration who was in charge should be responsible because of what happened on 9/11/01. If that's the case, they dropped the ball once again.

Now that I've loosened my tin foil hat, I feel much better now.

I dunno. Are these the same expurts who spew and babble about WTC?

I'll pass. On both the betting and the movie.

I think so also. There was some evidence with a possible missile entry point and burn reside pattern. A few witnesses also reported an object streaking towards the aircraft. This is not tin foil hat stuff but a real possibility.

I've suspected that as well, so it wouldn't suprise me.

yeah the "missile" from the witness. . .was easily verified as the smoke trail of the plane after explosion one (it broke apart flew up into the air higher, then a secondary explosion)

I'm not sure how people think two things:

1) that a random missile just happens to fly up and hit a plane. Its a big sky.

2) that the Navy would/could cover it up, if it was a real accident. WTF. That seems pretty crazy.

LOL is the poll necessary? You seem threatened by this documentary. I'm pretty interested however.

The Poll is a dig, much like some of the other false questions on CD. The real discussion is do you think that there is credibility in the upcoming video or will it be another fallacy based misinformation, half truths, and accusations

"Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence" - Carl Sagan

I'm betting that the claim (outside missile attack) will not be backed up by extraordinary evidence.

From individual people to Government to corporations, Long have people gone to great lengths to cover their mistakes or misdeeds. This happens everyday. People having affairs, companies cooking their books or other corruption. The Military has certainly covered things up in the past.

Missiles usually have locking tech, And a plane has a large radar signature. It certainly is possible.
