obama is a psychopathic lunatic. this is nothing new. nothing he says is considered a rational thought at this point in time. if and when he takes a deep breath, and joins reality, he will be welcomed back.

Believing students should go to integrated schools instead of segregated ones is not a rational thought?? Is this how much full of hate the right has become?

The money would be better spent improving the state system, those with the funds that don't like it can push off to Somalia - the land of the free!
What money would there be to spend on improving "the state system"? Neither private k-12 schools nor private college are funded through tax payer monies.

Religiously integrated? Like a Muslim kid going to a Yeshiva school?

Which is why Obama should keep his trap shut and let Ireland/North Ireland work it out.

Here's what Obama actually said: “If towns remain divided – if Catholics have their schools and buildings, and Protestants have theirs – if we can’t see ourselves in one another, if fear or resentment are allowed to harden, that encourages division. It discourages cooperation.” Obama Catholic schools flap: Did he really call for end of religious schools? (+video) - CSMonitor.com

Having suffered through Catholic School myself, I wouldn't be sad to see them disappear forever.

Being a product of Catholic schools as well, I can't believe the abuse. If we didn't sit up straight with our hands on the desk we would get whacked with a ruler lol Those nuns just loved doing that

Doesn't work that way, today.

So get over it? Move on? Blame your parents? They knew the "abuse" they paid for you to receive.

What decade was it/did you suffer through?

Same can be said for those who have had to suffer through public schools today.
