But he doesn't say these things to Muslim nations where Shiites and Sunnis are killing each other and their Islamic schools and institutions are festering it. Think about that....
Same thing within Islam, but you don't ever hear Obama suggest this when he speaks to Muslims.
You mean like the following at Cairo University.
Among some Muslims, there is a disturbing tendency to measure one's own faith by the rejection of another's. The richness of religious diversity must be upheld — whether it is for Maronites in Lebanon or the Copts in Egypt. And fault lines must be closed among Muslims as well, as the divisions between Sunni and Shia have led to tragic violence, particularly in Iraq.

Nope, not like that at all, did he mention religious schools being the cause? NOPE! NEXT!
sheesh. Gomexico's context shows that our president, the president of all Americans, is extremely prejudiced against Catholic schools. End of story.
"if Catholics have their schools and buildings and Protestants have theirs" is prejudiced - no, "extremely prejudiced" - against Catholic schools? This is downright amusing.

go back to the 2008 election and listen to his
speech to the californians about how the south and middle America supposedly
"Clings to their guns and religion".
Are you saying the south and middle America DON'T cling to their guns and religion?
Seemed like a pretty astute observation on his part.
Absolutely! If there is one thing Ireland taught us is the freedom of religion so that the Protestants and Catholics can kill each other!
Obama is a simpleton spouting simplistic platitudes.
As an American Protestant, I can attest the bombings of American Catholic schools ended in the 1970s.
(Although, we did still throw a few elbows during March Madness)
For all the praise given to them, just 5 per cent of Northern Ireland's pupils attend integrated schools today. As Philip O'Sullivan of the Northern Ireland Council for Integrated Education put it, the overwhelming majority of Ulster's children can go from four to 18 without having a serious conversation with a member of a rival creed. They mingle only when they reach the workplace because, oddly, the religious discrimination on which the education system rests is illegal at work.
News is reporting that in Obama's recent speech, he called Catholic schools divisive. What happened to religious freedom? Oh, that's right, the government thinks citizens don't have rights any
Any religious organization, by definition, is divisive...
