How do we encourage more companies to set up shop in the USA?
What party should people support for that sort of thing?

Labor costs in the US are too high.
And are only going up.
The cost of complying (regulations, etc) is also increasing.

It's just too expensive to do the work here in the US and be able to sell your goods to other countries. US companies couldn't even break even.

This is now a global economy where middle class in other countries only make $25-30K (USD).

The US for all of its faults has one of the most stable socio economic situations in the world. We also have many once hard working citizens that are currently unemployed and would love to work. However with our economy transitioned from manufacturing to technology and service; how about stepping up our education system to increase the brain pool? Why do we lag so far behind the nordic countries in education?
I do not believe in corporate welfare so all of this tax incentive business should be thrown out the window. Close all the loopholes that current US corporations currently enjoy on the backs of the worker.
Yes the corporation may pay less taxes but guess who picks up the slack?

This is not about political parties. The global economy is incredibly more powerful than a republican or democrat.

Gut the EPA and get them back on track. Eviscerate any regs imposed on states relating to human caused global warming...

Eliminate obamacare which acts as a heavy fog to obscure long term planning by businesses.

Eliminate the natl labor board stacked with Obama ideologs

Eliminate public unions.....have more right to work states.

Dump the dept of edu and teachers unions to unchain our education system and educate our children to ensure their future.

Dump the tax code as it exists.

1. Massive infrastructure spending. Put the bill on the Federal Reserve similar to what Sen. Warren proposes for student loans, not on the Treasury. This alone will create years of jobs, since our infrastructure is so terrible.

2. Cut any regulations dealing with greenhouse gases.

3. Realign defense spending with high technology spending on space and related technologies. Exchange bombs for space R&D and space infrastructure. China is catching up, fast.

4. Greatly simplify the tax code. Make it progressive with no exemptions. Or, at the very least, have your tax bill deducted automatically from your paycheck every payday.

The average salary in China is $14 a day.

The only way the US can compete is to have even cheaper wages, maybe $10 a day.

I like them all except #2. It is not just about global warming it is about pollution/ air quality. Most of us would rather not breathe garbage.

That's why I said greenhouse gases, not air pollution regs in general.....greenhouse gases is predominantly CO2, a substance that should not be regulated outside of medical uses

Well, the way our system works, credit is distributed in a hierarchy. The Federal Reserve Bank creates digital currency from thin air, and distributes it to the private sector via large banks as these banks experience demand for loans. It is far from being a "Free" market, as only a handful of institutions control the monetary supply.

From a legislative perspective, these banks are supposed to be serving the interests of society, which is why we granted this privilege to them in the first place. However, if you're like me, you'd think it's absurd and naive for Congress to expect large banks to serve society's interests.

So what you need is a reform of the Federal Reserve system , in a way where credit is loaned directly from the Fed to smaller players within the economy. This would create a FAR more competitive environment for private-sector loans.
